Prototype of a robot carrying a fetus presented in China
China's Kaiwa Technology company has presented the world's first humanoid robot prototype designed to carry a fetus. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This robot can carry a fetus for ten months and can perform the childbirth process. According to the Interesting Engineering publication, the project centers around an artificial womb module filled with amniotic fluid.

This module mimics the natural pregnancy process, allowing the embryo to develop. It is planned to supply nutrients to the robot and ensure the fetus's growth through a special tube.

According to the company's CEO, Dr. Zhang, the device has successfully passed tests on animals and is planned to be released for sale in 2026 at an approximate price of 100,000 yuan. The new technology is intended for young families and individuals who wish to have children but are unable to conceive naturally.

Additionally, this robot is considered beneficial for women who want to avoid the physical difficulties associated with the childbirth process. This news has sparked widespread discussions on Chinese social networks.

On the Weibo search engine, the query "the world's first pregnant robot" ranked highest. Opinions are divided: critics consider it unethical and cruel, while supporters accept this technology as a modern solution that protects women from the severe physical challenges of pregnancy.

In 2020, infertility rates in China reached 18%, and surrogate motherhood was legally banned, so demand for such technology is expected to be high. Most internet users expressed hope for the possibility of having children with the help of the robot.

In conclusion, Kaiwa Technology's prototype is not only a technological innovation but may also significantly impact concepts of family building and generational continuity. This discovery serves to improve the quality of human life and opens new doors in modern medicine.
