Nvidia stopped selling H20 chips in China

Nvidia has decided to stop manufacturing H20 artificial intelligence chips. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This decision was made after the Chinese government urged local companies not to use these chips due to security reasons. According to TechCrunch, the Chinese government recommends using local chips and has warned about potential backdoors in US technologies.

This warning was announced about a month after Nvidia and other companies were allowed to sell chips in the Chinese market. In a comment to TechCrunch, an Nvidia representative stated that the supply chain will continue to be managed according to market conditions.

He emphasized that cybersecurity issues are very important for the company and confirmed that there are no backdoors in Nvidia chips. Therefore, customers can confidently use H20 chips.

This decision is expected to impact the global technology market and trade relations with China.
