Apple is preparing to launch its first foldable iPhone model in 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Recently, the company has been making minor design changes in its products, with the differences in new models often visible only in colors. However, the new device will have an entirely new concept, designed as a smartphone that opens like a book and can transform into a tablet.
According to Bloomberg commentator Mark Gurman, the foldable iPhone has the internal code name V68, with an external display of about five to six inches and an internal screen around eight inches. The device will be equipped with four cameras.
The front panel will have separate lenses for selfies and video calls, while the back will feature two high-resolution cameras. Additionally, the developers have decided to reintroduce Touch ID technology, with the fingerprint scanner located on the side of the device.
Experts believe that the foldable iPhone will generate significant interest in the market. Its initial price is expected to be around $1999.
This new model is notable as a fresh and innovative solution among Apple products.
