Elon Musk's companies X and xAI have filed a lawsuit against Apple and OpenAI. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to them, these two major technology companies have joined forces, preventing other competitors from entering the market. As a result, a fair competitive environment is being disrupted.
The court documents emphasize that Apple has installed only the OpenAI chatbot on its phones and other devices. For this reason, it has become difficult for other artificial intelligence programs to reach users.
This situation gives OpenAI a significant advantage, leaving competitors behind. Elon Musk had previously accused Apple and OpenAI of unfair agreements.
OpenAI called these accusations "Musk's usual attack." Apple has not yet officially responded to these claims.
Elon Musk originally co-founded OpenAI with Sam Altman in 2015. However, over time, disagreements arose between them, and they became competitors.
Currently, Musk is developing new artificial intelligence programs such as xAI and Grok, competing with OpenAI. According to the documents submitted to the court, the special agreement between Apple and OpenAI has not only reduced competition but also slowed down the innovation process.
This negatively affects the development of innovations in the technology sector.
