The new model of Garmin Fenix 8 Pro smartwatches is creating new opportunities in the field of sports technologies. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This device is equipped with LTE-M network, satellite communication, and a MicroLED display. Now users can send voice messages up to 30 seconds, exchange texts, share locations, receive weather information, and send emergency SOS signals without connecting to a smartphone.
All of this is done through the Garmin InReach platform. The subscription price for this service starts at $8 per month, with a 30-day free trial period offered for new users.
LTE connectivity is supported in North America, Europe, and more than 30 other countries. Other functions of the device are similar to the Fenix 8 model, featuring standard sensors, various workout modes, and navigation capabilities.
The watches consist of 47 and 51 millimeter OLED models capable of up to 27 days of independent operation, priced at $1200 and $1300 respectively. The version with a bright MicroLED display is available only in the 51 millimeter size, has a brightness of 4500 nits, and can operate for about 10 days.
