Access to social networks restricted in Turkey

There are disruptions in access to popular social networks and messengers in Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Access to platforms such as X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp is limited. According to foreign media reports, the problems began on Sunday at 20:45 GMT, and since then the performance of these services has significantly decreased.

According to information, these restrictions were implemented after the Republican People's Party called for a rally in Istanbul and the police set up barricades around the city headquarters. At the same time, the Turkish Internet Providers Association has not yet issued any official statement regarding this blockage.

This situation is said to be possibly related to problems accessing social networks and the intensification of the political situation in the country. Citizens and experts are closely monitoring the situation.

The disruption of internet services is negatively affecting daily life and business activities. Explanations and solutions from official authorities are awaited.
