For the first time in the world, a ministerial position based on artificial intelligence has been created in Albania. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The news was shared by a Telegram channel. The new artificial intelligence minister is named Diella, which means "sun" in Albanian.
Diella is responsible for conducting state tenders and determining which private companies will be contracted for public procurement. According to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, the artificial intelligence minister is "not for sale," which helps prevent corruption in the field of public procurement.
This model operates on the e-Albania platform and provides citizens with access to various government services. Users have the opportunity to interact with the artificial intelligence minister, who appears as an avatar dressed in traditional Albanian national attire.
This innovation marks a new stage in the introduction of technologies in public administration and the fight against corruption. The project being implemented in Albania can serve as an example for other countries as well.
The goal is to increase the transparency and efficiency of public services with the help of artificial intelligence. This, in turn, serves to strengthen the public's trust in government institutions.
Thus, by introducing technological development and innovations in public administration, the welfare of society is ensured.
