Google Maps Android application has started to present route information in a more accurate and convenient form for users through a new update, as reported by pepelac.news.
In the new interface, after selecting a direction, a reworked route summary will appear on the screen. The travel time is displayed in large font, and the traffic condition is indicated by color.
The navigation panel also features the following additional information:
– traffic condition on the road
– distance
– fuel savings calculation
– information about special transport lanes and toll roads on the routes
For now, this update is only available for Android users, and the iOS version is expected to be released later.
