Thousands of specialists work at these companies based on H-1B visas. In Frankfurt trading, shares of major companies such as Apple, Nvidia, Meta, and Tesla were traded with slight changes.
The market remains generally stable. According to official data, Amazon obtained more than 12,000 H-1B visas in the first half of the year.
Microsoft and Meta secured over 5,000 visas each. The new fee structure may cause significant difficulties for these companies.
