Google Chrome browser has introduced a new feature. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This feature automatically deletes notifications from websites that have not received any response from the user. This option will be available in browser versions on desktop and Android devices.
It should be noted that this change does not apply to notifications from web applications. In other words, only notifications from regular websites that the user has ignored will be deleted.
According to Google, less than one percent of all web notifications receive a response from users. Tests have shown that the new system significantly reduces the number of notifications.
At the same time, this change does not negatively affect the total number of clicks. Interestingly, websites that send fewer notifications establish more effective communication with users.
This helps improve the connection between websites and users. The new feature provides convenience for users to get rid of unnecessary notifications and enhances the browsing experience.
