Samsung was accused in a US court of using another company's ideas without permission. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the court's decision, Samsung must pay a fine of 445.5 million dollars to the company “Collision Communications.” This case was presented to the court in 2023, with the plaintiff claiming that Samsung used wireless communication technologies belonging to them without authorization in their phones and laptops.
These technologies were initially developed by another company in the US and later transferred to “Collision Communications.” Samsung denies these claims, emphasizing that they are not true.
Although the court ruling requires the company to pay a large fine, Samsung has the right to appeal this decision. This situation once again highlights the importance of intellectual property rights in the technology sector.
Companies must obtain legal permission for the technologies they use in their products. During the court process, both parties present their evidence and try to resolve the issue.
Therefore, court decisions can frequently change. The disputes between Samsung and “Collision Communications” require a deeper examination of technological development and legal matters.
