Meta company has introduced new safety measures for users under 18 years old on the Instagram platform. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
From now on, filters similar to PG-13 movies will be applied for users of this age group. These filters limit exposure to harsh language, dangerous actions, or content intended for adults.
The new rules operate automatically with the help of artificial intelligence and ensure the protection of teenagers. Additionally, parental control options have been expanded, allowing parents to monitor their children's online activity more effectively.
Previously, Meta had also implemented measures to ensure teenagers' safety, such as restricting topics related to suicide. The new safety settings will initially be launched in the USA, the UK, Australia, and Canada, and will be expanded worldwide by the end of the year.
These updates aim to make the online environment of Instagram users safer and more comfortable.
