This model was officially released for sale in China one month after the global premiere, following recent approval by the regulator. The iPhone Air supports only eSIM technology.
Currently, there is a 1-2 week delay in delivery for orders placed online. This high demand is related to Apple CEO Tim Cook's visit to China.
He met with Vice Premier He Lifeng in the country and participated in a conference as chairman of the advisory board of the management school at Xinhua University. According to analysts, the strong sales indicate stable interest in the iPhone in the Chinese market.
