Reports have emerged about the possible blocking of Telegram in Russia

There are reports that Telegram messenger may be completely blocked in Russia starting from April 1 of this year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In this regard, the publications "RBK" and The Bell provided information based on their sources. RBK's sources close to the Kremlin emphasized that the decision to block Telegram is final.
The Bell wrote that an initial decision has been made through one of the Russian mobile operators to impose restrictions on the messenger starting from April 1. According to the information, this blocking may be implemented throughout the entire territory of Russia.
In RBK's article, it is mentioned that by April, Telegram may only operate in the front-line regions. The reports note that Russian military personnel might coordinate battlefield actions through this messenger, although the Kremlin does not officially acknowledge this.
Additionally, it is said that the Russian Federal Security Service has warned about the risk of Ukrainian special services obtaining data. These developments raise new questions regarding information exchange and data security in Russia.
