The reloading tradition, which has been formed among players for nearly twenty-six years, has fundamentally changed in the game Counter-Strike 2. According to the new update released on March 19, 2026, bullets remaining in the weapon's magazine will no longer return to the player's overall reserve after reloading.

This news was widely covered by foreign media and attracted great attention within the player community. Until now, players could insert new bullets into the magazine after firing just one shot during combat, preserving the remaining ammunition in the magazine without losing it.
