Apple is developing a small computer called the Mac Neo, intended for simple daily tasks and the general public, with an affordable price. Zamin.uz reported on this.

According to information distributed by MyDrivers, this device is expected to be a simplified and cheaper version of the current Mac mini model. It is speculated that the new compact computer will be equipped with the Apple A19 Pro processor intended for iPhone 17 Pro smartphones and 12 gigabytes of RAM.

To reduce production costs, the device's body may be made of silver-colored plastic material. In terms of appearance, it will have a compact shape reminiscent of the Apple TV 4K device.

As for connectivity options, it is highly likely that the Mac Neo model will feature two USB-C ports with speeds up to 10 gigabits per second. Additionally, focusing on energy efficiency, its power consumption will be approximately 35 watts.

The starting price of the new computer is expected to be around 2,299 yuan, making it significantly cheaper than the M-series Mac mini models. According to industry experts, Apple may further expand this affordable line next year.

Specifically, there are plans to launch a laptop model called the MacBook Neo 2 with the same A19 Pro processor and memory capabilities. This strategy will allow the company to establish itself in the budget technology segment.
