Google company produces artificial intelligence smart glasses
Google is re-entering the smart glasses market to strengthen its position in the modern technology industry, Zamin.uz reported.
The renowned tech giant unveiled its new project in this field during an influential gathering, announcing it to the public. According to reports, the company has closely collaborated with well-known brands such as Warby Parker and Gentle Monster in developing these devices.
The new generation of glasses is equipped with artificial intelligence capabilities, designed to provide users with greater convenience in daily life. These devices were developed in collaboration with Samsung of South Korea.
This ensures full and seamless connectivity with smartphones running on Android and iOS operating systems. According to international publications, Google refers to these products as audio glasses.
The name indicates that the device is primarily controlled via voice commands. Users can access various applications, search for information, and fulfill their needs remotely through a dedicated assistant system.
During the presentation, the practical capabilities of this technology were also demonstrated. For example, the process of ordering coffee online using a simple voice command via the glasses was shown.
Such features are especially useful when users’ hands are occupied or when they are on the move. Google had previously attempted to launch a similar project several years ago.
Although the earlier Google Glass project, which attracted significant attention, did not achieve the expected results, today’s market conditions and technological capabilities have completely changed. Currently, major corporations like Meta and numerous newly established innovative companies are investing heavily in the smart glasses market.
Google aims to gain a competitive edge in this space by leveraging its extensive experience and advanced artificial intelligence system. The new devices are expected to appear in retail stores by the end of this year.
