Flipper One: a new generation device for hackers has been presented
Flipper Devices has introduced the Flipper One model, a new generation of the hacker tool recognized as a popular and multifunctional device. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the project creators, the mentioned gadget is not an update replacing the previous Flipper Zero model, but rather a completely independent product designed for working with network technologies. This news has generated significant interest in the world of modern technologies.
The new device features significantly higher technical capabilities. Flipper One is equipped with two high-speed network ports, the latest Wi-Fi 6E standard, and the ability to install a fifth-generation mobile communication modem via a special slot.
It also supports connecting fast modules through various interfaces, enabling the device to be used as a protected network gateway, router, or as a bridge between wired and wireless communication systems.
The device’s internal power is also noteworthy. It includes an eight-core powerful processor and eight gigabytes of modern fast memory.
Such technical power allows the gadget to run a full Linux operating system implementation without any difficulties. Additionally, high-quality image transmission monitors can be connected via a dedicated video output port.
This makes it possible to use the Flipper One device as a compact desktop computer. The manufacturing company plans to provide open-source software for the device.
However, some parts of the system still require further development. As of now, the exact date for the public fundraising campaign to finance the project has not been announced.
Nevertheless, a special portal for developers has been launched, where specialists can participate in creating software solutions for the new device.
