It became known that AMD video cards are superior to their competitors in the new game

TechPowerUp specialists tested more than 30 graphics cards in the new 007: First Light game. Zamin.uz reported on this.
It turned out that this project, which was warmly received by the media and gaming enthusiasts, is unexpectedly well-optimized for AMD products. Despite some shortcomings at the software level, Radeon series graphics chips are significantly outperforming their direct competitors.
Information on this matter is being widely discussed by industry experts. In particular, in the high-resolution 1440p format, the Radeon RX 9070 model not only left the RTX 5070 card behind but also managed to approach the performance of the RTX 5070 Ti.
Notably, the price difference between these models is nearly twofold. Additionally, the RX 7900 XTX model from the previous generation demonstrated higher performance than even the newest RTX 5080 device.
This situation came as an unexpected gift for AMD users. Although NVIDIA cards show slightly better results in the highest 4K format, incomprehensible drops are observed in the RTX 40 series.
For example, the RTX 4070 model recorded weaker results than its predecessor, the RTX 3070, and lost out to the cheaper RX 9060 model. Overall, the technical optimization of the game is not bad.
In standard Full HD format, the RTX 3060 card can provide 40 frames per second, while the RTX 3060 Ti provides a stable 60 frames. To achieve a stable 60 frames at high-quality 1440p resolution, devices at the level of the RX 7700 XT or RTX 4070 are required.
In 4K format, the load on the system increases sharply. Even the most powerful RTX 5080 model delivers approximately 60 frames at maximum settings without image upscaling technologies.
These indicators clearly demonstrate the balance between the game's visual quality and technical requirements. These tests will serve as an important guide for users when choosing a graphics card for new games.
