ClickHouse's annual revenue reached $250 million

ClickHouse, a leader in database management systems, has increased its annual revenue to $250 million, as reported by Zamin.uz.
The company’s co-founder and president of technology, Yuriy Izrailevskiy, shared this achievement in an interview with a prominent publication, noting that the business has grown threefold compared to last year’s figures.
According to expert estimates, by the end of the current year, ClickHouse’s total revenue is expected to reach the highest levels among nine-figure sums. During the initial investment phase at the beginning of the year, the company successfully raised $400 million.
Following this, the company’s overall market valuation was assessed at $15 billion—a figure approximately 60 times its annual revenue, indicating exceptionally high market confidence.
This rapid growth and elevated valuation suggest that the startup, still under five years old, is preparing to go public in the coming years. The company continues to hire experienced specialists to improve its management systems.
Notably, in the autumn of last year, Jimmi Sekston, an expert with extensive experience in finance, was appointed as Chief Financial Officer. The hiring of such high-level financial professionals typically signals serious preparation for entering the public market.
Additionally, ClickHouse has so far acquired six smaller companies, including a specialized platform for monitoring the efficiency of artificial intelligence systems. Originally, ClickHouse technology was developed 17 years ago as part of a major search engine system.
However, in 2021, it spun off into an independent company. Today, ClickHouse serves over 4,000 major clients, including globally recognized technology giants and financial institutions.
The startup’s open-source database is specifically designed for fast processing of large data sets required by artificial intelligence tools. Currently, the company primarily generates revenue by offering remote cloud services.
According to management, these commercial services are considered more affordable and convenient for clients than managing the system independently. This factor gives the company a competitive advantage in the market and supports its further economic development.
