Anthropic's valuation surges to $965 billion on investor capital

Anthropic, one of the world's leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence technologies, has successfully completed its latest round of fundraising. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During this financial operation, the company raised a total of $65 billion. As a result, Anthropic's overall market valuation reached $965 billion.
According to industry analysts, this round is expected to be the company's final private funding stage before its public shares enter the market. This information has been detailed by influential publications.
The major investment round was led by prominent venture capital firms such as Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, and Sequoia Capital. Additionally, technology giants Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron participated as strategic partners in the process.
Of the funds raised, $15 billion accounts for previously committed investments, including $5 billion provided by Amazon Corporation. This financial support serves as a solid foundation for the company's future plans.
Anthropic's leadership intends to allocate the newly raised funds toward further improving its artificial intelligence model named Claude. The main focus will be on enhancing system safety, expanding computational capabilities, and improving the quality of products designed for large corporate clients.
According to available data, the company's monthly revenue has significantly increased, and in the near future, Anthropic is expected to reach its first-ever profitability threshold. This is expected to further strengthen investor confidence in the company.
During the fundraising period, the company unveiled its new Claude Opus 4.8 model to the public. This latest release demonstrates high performance in handling complex programming tasks and in the operation of autonomous digital assistants.
Furthermore, the company is working on making its Mythos model—specialized in cybersecurity—available to a broader user base. Such developments contribute to maintaining the company's technological edge.
Currently, Anthropic is competing directly with major players like OpenAI in the artificial intelligence market. While competition in the sector is intensifying, other major technology initiatives are also striving to increase their value and gain leadership in the global market.
These steps taken by Anthropic will undoubtedly have a positive impact not only on the company itself but also on the development of the entire artificial intelligence industry.
