Samsung has released a software update for its new smartphone

Following the Galaxy A16 5G model, Samsung has released the final version of the One UI 8.5 user interface for another of its affordable devices, the Galaxy A17 5G smartphone. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Currently, this software update has been announced as available for users living in countries such as Bulgaria, France, India, Nepal, and Vietnam, according to industry news sources.
The new software is being released under the number A176BXXU5CZE9 and has a size of 2.4 gigabytes. This update also includes security system patches for May 2026.
The updated system brings a number of conveniences to the device, including a slightly modified appearance, expanded personalization options, and improved internal applications. Users can now utilize a fully customizable quick settings panel, additional font styles for the clock on the lock screen, and automatic data organization capabilities.
Additionally, new image filters have been added to the camera app, and useful functions showing air pollution levels have been added to the weather app. While the notes app has been enriched with the ability to create tables and perform automatic calculations, new ways of sharing workout data with smartwatches have been introduced in the health app.
In the internet browser, a new section has appeared that shows the security status and pages open on other devices. According to analytical data, the Galaxy A17 5G model ranked among the most popular smartphones in the world in the first quarter of 2026.
