Google Sheets works in 28 languages with the help of Gemini AI

Google Corporation has announced the full integration of the Gemini artificial intelligence system into Google Sheets. Zamin.uz reported on this.

Following this update, millions of users will have broader capabilities when working with spreadsheets. Gemini now understands simple text prompts not only in English, but in 28 other languages as well.

These include Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic.. According to the Ixbt.com publication, previously, the AI capabilities within Google Sheets were primarily available to US users and in limited languages.

In this new stage, users from various countries around the world, including representatives from Uzbekistan, can use this service. This creates convenience especially for multilingual teams, analysts, teachers, entrepreneurs, and students.

The Gemini assistant helps the user create a table from scratch, add necessary columns, prepare complex formulas, and create summary reports based on existing data. For example, a user only needs to write “create a table to track the project budget” or “add a column to calculate profit.”

The artificial intelligence analyzes the request, fills in the necessary cells, places formulas, and establishes relationships between the data. The update is part of the Google Workspace ecosystem, making data analysis and visual presentation significantly easier.

Users no longer need to spend a lot of time memorizing complex formulas or creating them manually. The desired result can be achieved through simple sentences.

To use this feature, smart features must be enabled in the Google Workspace settings. After that, the Gemini icon will appear in the Google Sheets side panel.

Through this interface, the user communicates directly with the AI and makes changes to the table. The new language support capabilities are open to Google Workspace corporate clients, educational institution users, and personal account holders with a Gemini Advanced subscription.
