Elon Musk stated that AI will leave humanity behind in its development

One of the smartest people on Earth, Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and xAI, has made another controversial statement about the development of artificial intelligence (AI). This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the billionaire, within the next 4–5 years, technology will reach a level where it will not only surpass individual humans but also outstrip the collective intellectual capacity of all humanity. This was reported by Ixbt.com.
This forecast comes in response to the ideas of well-known entrepreneur Peter Diamandis, who has advocated expanding humanity beyond the confines of Earth. Diamandis emphasized the need to mobilize society to overcome resource limitations and accelerate innovation.
Elon Musk, however, pointed out that in this process, the role of artificial mind will sharply increase relative to human effort. In his view, human genius and technological limits have so far been constrained by population size and the degree of resource utilization.
But the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence could remove these constraints. In his opinion, the growth of computing power and energy is not merely technical progress—it creates an unequal ally for humanity in making discoveries and solving complex problems.
The billionaire previously stated that his company xAI could reach the level of artificial general intelligence (AGI) by 2026. AGI refers to a system capable of mastering any intellectual task that a human can perform.
