NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 returns to European stores

In the graphics processing market, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 video card, which has maintained a solid position, has returned to the shelves of European retail stores. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Although this model is not considered a representative of the latest generation from a technological standpoint, its return to the market has sparked significant interest among computer users and gaming enthusiasts. However, according to industry experts and influential publications, the new pricing policy set for this device has left many puzzled.
Currently, in major retail chains in Germany, GeForce RTX 3060 models produced by leading brands such as Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, and PNY are available for sale. In the near future, products from other well-known manufacturers are also expected to appear on the market.
The initial price of the video card is set at approximately 335 euros, which is noticeably higher compared to last year’s prices. When analyzing market prices and competition, the situation becomes even more intriguing.
For comparison, it is worth noting that during the summer months of last year, when this model returned to the market, its price was around 245 euros. The current price not only makes the older model expensive but also brings it close to the pricing of NVIDIA’s more modern and powerful graphics cards.
For example, the RTX 4060 model, which operates significantly faster from a technical standpoint, can currently be found for as low as 310 euros. Even more surprisingly, for around 340 euros, users can purchase the RTX 4060 Ti version, which offers substantially higher performance.
This situation indicates that the RTX 3060’s price of 335 euros seems somewhat illogical from a rational standpoint. New-generation graphics cards are not only more power-efficient but also significantly ahead in terms of image processing speed.
Regarding technical capabilities, the RTX 3060 model features 12 gigabytes of video memory, which is considered its main advantage. While this specification exceeds that of some newer models, it falls short in supporting modern technologies.
Specifically, cards in this category do not feature frame generation functionality. Despite this, the device has consistently remained among the most popular graphics cards worldwide according to Steam’s monthly reports for a long time.
This news is also significant for users in Uzbekistan, as price changes and product availability in the European market directly influence pricing trends in our region.
So far, no official explanation has been provided for why this model has returned to resale at such a high price. However, experts suggest it may be linked to rising inventory costs and logistics expenses.
