GMKtec Officially Unveils G5S Mini PC

In the world of technology, compactness and affordability are reaching a new level. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
GMKtec has officially unveiled its latest creation — the G5S mini-computer, notable for its extremely small dimensions. This device attracts attention not only for its tiny size but also for its sufficient performance for everyday tasks and its budget-friendly price.
This is reported by major technology publications. The dimensions of the new G5S model are approximately 72 by 72 by 44.5 millimeters.
This means that a full-fledged personal computer can easily fit in a human palm. Such compactness makes it an ideal choice for users who want to save space on their desk or carry the device with them constantly.
The foundation of the device is the four-core Intel Celeron N5095 processor from the Intel Jasper Lake family. This microchip is designed to handle standard tasks such as working with office applications, browsing the internet, and watching video content without issues.
For graphics, the integrated Intel UHD graphics system is responsible. Regarding memory, the GMKtec G5S is equipped with 8 gigabytes of LPDDR4 RAM.
It should be noted that the memory modules are firmly soldered to the motherboard, meaning there is no possibility to upgrade the RAM in the future. As for permanent storage, users are offered either a 128 GB or 256 GB hard drive.
Despite its small size, the manufacturer has not forgotten about expandability. Inside the device, there is a dedicated slot for additional memory, allowing for further memory expansion.
The cooling system consists of a copper heat pipe and a single low-noise fan, ensuring stability even during prolonged operation. The GMKtec G5S is also well-equipped in terms of connectivity options.
It features three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, an HDMI 2.0 video output, a gigabit-speed network port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The new product is currently available for sale in the Chinese market.
The base model with 128 GB of storage is priced at $170, while the 256 GB version costs $270. GMKtec has announced that this mini-computer will soon be available on the global market, although international prices are expected to be slightly higher.
Such devices are also relevant for the Uzbekistani market. In particular, for educational centers, government institutions, and small offices, these energy-efficient and space-saving solutions could replace traditional bulky desktop computers.
This device is a convenient option for those who want to organize their workspace neatly using modern technology and who value high productivity.
