A new UGaz information system has been introduced in Uzbekistan to monitor gas usage and ensure transparency. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This system was developed by the “Single Integrator – Uzinfocom” and allows real-time monitoring of the operation of gas refueling compressor stations for vehicles. The UGaz system was launched based on the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution “On measures for the rational use of natural gas resources” adopted on July 6, 2024.
From now on, gas refueling stations are required to use this system to obtain a license. The main functions of the system include recording the refueling process in real time, reducing manual accounting, detecting illegal activities, ensuring technical safety, and increasing service transparency.
When a vehicle enters the CNG refueling station, its technical inspection, whether the cylinder is registered, and the compatibility of the fuel type are automatically checked. If a problem is detected, the operator is immediately notified.
Additionally, the activity of each pump and employee at the station is also monitored through the UGaz system. This system is fully integrated with agencies such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Tax Committee, Energy Supervision, OneID, and Toshshaxartransxizmat.
Thus, control in the gas sector is being strengthened, and the quality and transparency of services are being improved (source: zamin.uz).
