Russia struck targets in Odessa region

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that it struck important targets in the Odessa region in response to an attack by the Ukrainian army on Crimea. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Russian Armed Forces emphasized that they carried out effective strikes against Ukrainian special operation forces and military intelligence units. It was stated that these strikes were in response to a terrorist attack on civilians in the city of Foros in the Republic of Crimea.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its actions were carried out within the scope of its legal rights. According to information, on September 22, Ukrainian special forces and intelligence units attacked the annexed Crimea.

In response to these attacks, Russia struck the Shkolny airfield in the Odessa region and locations where unmanned aerial vehicles are stored. It was also reported that the Motor Sich plant was hit.

Ukrainian drones were used from this airfield for attacks against Russia. So far, the Ukrainian government has not issued an official comment regarding Russia's strikes.

The Ukrainian army also stated that there has been no official response to these strikes.
