New data on wages across Uzbekistan have been published. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the report from the National Statistics Committee, in January-September 2025, Qamashi district stood out with the lowest average wage indicator in the republic. The average salary of workers in this district amounted to 3 million soms.
This figure is twice less than the country's average wage of 6.2 million soms. On the other hand, the highest wage was recorded in the Mirobod district of Tashkent city, where the average salary was 13.1 million soms.
Thus, the difference between the highest and lowest wages across the country is almost fourfold. In the republic, wages in 28 districts are above the average indicator, while in other regions this figure is around 4 million soms.
Specifically, in the Amudaryo, Mirishkor, and Qamashi districts, the average salary is less than half of the national level. Nevertheless, a higher growth rate has been observed in regions with low wages.
For example, wages in these regions increased by 18.4%, while in regions with higher wages the growth was 17.5%. According to experts, although increased economic activity in some regions is a positive development, additional measures are required to eliminate the large wage disparities.
