Additional grant selection for foreign higher education institutions has started

An additional selection has been announced for state grant places allocated for studying at foreign and non-governmental higher education institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the decision of the State Commission, the selection will be reorganized for the vacant places out of the 1,320 places allocated for the 2025/2026 academic year. Candidates wishing to participate in this selection are required to register online on the my.uzbmb.uz platform of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills from November 25 to December 4, 2025.

This registration process is the first and most important stage of the selection. Test exams for candidates will be organized by December 11, 2025.

All information regarding the test exams will be provided through the applicant's personal account. Also, the student can download the admission permit for the exam from the same account.

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 14, 2019, a specified fee will be charged from registered applicants. Candidates who do not pay this fee on time will be deprived of the opportunity to participate in the test exams.

Based on the scores obtained by applicants in the test exams, ranking lists will be compiled in order. These ranking lists will be submitted to the relevant higher education institutions by December 15, 2025.

The additional selection creates a new opportunity for young people who were unable to obtain a grant place in the previous stage. This process paves the way for many students to continue their studies at foreign and non-governmental higher education institutions.
