The epicenter of the earthquake was located near the city of Batken in the Kyrgyz Republic, which is 214 kilometers southeast of Tashkent. According to specialists, the earthquake had a magnitude of 1.9, and the underground tremors occurred at a depth of 5 kilometers.
The exact coordinates of the epicenter are 40.13 degrees north latitude and 71.26 degrees east longitude. The impact of the earthquake was also noted in the territory of Uzbekistan.
In particular, in the Sokh district of Fergana region, the shaking was felt at a strength of 2 points. The Sokh district is located 21 kilometers from the earthquake epicenter.
