In 2025, agriculture grew by 4.4%

In 2025, stable growth was observed in Uzbekistan's agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, the total value of products and services produced in these sectors amounted to 538.9 trillion soums. The main share belonged to farming, livestock, hunting, and related services — 518.8 trillion soums.
In forestry, products worth 15 trillion soums were produced, and in fisheries, products worth 5 trillion soums. This was reported by uzdaily.uz.
By region, the highest growth rates were recorded in Sirdaryo (106.9%), Fergana (105.6%), and Khorezm (104.9%) provinces. Moderate growth was observed in Samarkand (103.3%), Surxondaryo (103.8%), and Tashkent (104.2%) provinces.
Throughout the year, the volume of agricultural production amounted to 508.7 trillion soums, which is 4.4% more compared to 2024. Farming grew by 7.2%, while livestock increased by 1.6%.
By provinces, the largest production volumes were in Samarkand (58 trillion soums), Andijan (50 trillion soums), and Kashkadarya (49.9 trillion soums). The lowest figures were recorded in Sirdaryo, Karakalpakstan, and Navoi regions.
The main part of the products was formed in dehkan and household farms — 62.3%. Farmer farms accounted for 29.4%, and organizations held an 8.3% share.
Production of livestock products also continued to grow. In 2025, meat production increased by 101.5%, milk by 101.2%, and eggs by 107%.
The number of large horned cattle reached 14.5 million heads, and sheep and goats reached 25 million heads. The main share of livestock numbers belongs to dehkan and household farms.
Overall, the results of 2025 showed an expansion in production volume in the agricultural sector and active participation of various types of farms. This contributes to ensuring the country's food security and strengthening economic stability.
