The traffic flow in our capital and the growing congestion from day to day is one of the pressing problems that concerns all drivers today. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Tashkent city administration is considering large-scale projects in cooperation with Chinese investors and skilled specialists to eliminate these difficulties and fundamentally improve the capital's transport system. While discussions on social media have raised concerns about possible tolls, it is important to note that no plans are currently in place to introduce fees on existing roads.

On the contrary, the focus is on building completely new and modern roads that would create alternative routes for drivers. One of the key projects transforming Tashkent's road infrastructure is the construction of a new, large ring road encircling the city.

This highway will span approximately 100 kilometers and will serve as an external bypass to the current Tashkent ring road. Once operational, it will significantly reduce traffic load in the city's most congested areas, particularly around the Qo'yliq and Farhod markets, as well as at the southern and eastern entrances to the capital.

Heavy freight vehicles and transit automobiles from between regions will be able to bypass the city center entirely, reaching their destinations directly via this new route. Another important initiative is the construction of a high-speed highway connecting the capital's center with the new international airport currently being relocated to Tashkent Region.

Once the new airport becomes operational, this highway will prevent potential traffic problems on the city's outgoing routes, allowing passengers and visitors to reach the airport quickly and without congestion.

This system will offer several conveniences for drivers. First, it provides freedom of choice for every road user.

Those who value quality and speed can use the new roads, while those who prefer not to pay can continue using the existing free roads as before. Second, by rerouting heavy freight traffic away from residential areas, the capital's ecology will improve, and roads will be relieved of excessive strain.

At present, serious economic calculations and studies are being conducted for these projects. The exact timelines for construction and the procedures for road usage will be officially announced only after all processes are fully approved.

Such a modern approach will contribute to creating a strong logistics foundation for Tashkent, a city that is rapidly developing.
