Employees' salaries will be paid before the Eid al-Adha holiday

According to the requirements of the current labor legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, if employees' paid days off or holidays coincide with payment dates, these payments must be made before such days. Zamin.uz reported this.
In this regard, in connection with the upcoming Kurban Hayit holiday, all employers are reminded that they must pay their employees' salaries no later than the specified deadline, namely by May 27. This rule is an important guarantee aimed at protecting the social rights of employees and ensuring they do not face financial difficulties during the holidays.
As stipulated in the relevant articles of the Labor Code, violation of wage payment deadlines entails legal consequences for the employer. If the management of an enterprise or organization fails to make payments on time, they will be obliged to pay additional compensation to employees for each day of delay.
Specifically, Articles 253 and 333 of the Labor Code regulate these relations and clearly indicate the material liability of the employer. This procedure is mandatory not only for state organizations but also for all types of business entities and private enterprises.
Experts note that paying wages before the holiday has a positive impact on employees' morale and helps them meet their family needs in a timely manner. Given the increase in shopping at markets and stores during the holidays, the timely payment of salaries plays an important role in maintaining the purchasing power of the population.
Furthermore, this process strengthens the environment of mutual trust and responsibility within labor collectives. The strict compliance of employers with this legal requirement and the non-violation of employees' rights are also constantly monitored by supervisory bodies.
