
A new phase has begun in improving the internal control system in the state governance system of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the government decision, a concept for further development of the internal control system in republican and local executive authorities has been approved for 2025–2027. This document outlines the priority directions, tasks, and future development stages for improving the internal control system.
Within the framework of the new concept, goals have been set to unify the control environment into a cohesive system, effectively manage risks and threats, enhance the efficiency of control processes, expand information and communication capabilities, and strengthen accountability through systematic monitoring. To achieve these goals, practical measures will be taken to adapt the regulatory and legal framework to modern requirements, utilize modern technologies and approaches, as well as strengthen the training and retraining system for personnel in state bodies.
According to experts, the adoption of the new concept will further strengthen the principles of transparency, clarity, and accountability in state bodies. The improvement of the internal control system serves to prevent corruption and other negative situations, as well as to enhance executive discipline.
These reforms aim to increase efficiency and clarity in state governance, strengthen citizens' trust, and attract public attention. Currently, the implementation of the concept and its practical results are being closely monitored by the public.
