Andrey Talalaev, the head coach of Kaliningrad's "Baltika" team, spoke about the main differences between the playing style of Moscow's "Dinamo" under Valery Karpin and the team during Marcel Lichka's era. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He noted that there have been significant changes in pressing, with the team's movements becoming more compact and unified. The distances between players have decreased, which has improved the overall quality of the team's play.
Additionally, the quality of the squad has increased, and the performance in set pieces has also improved. Talalaev highlighted Daniil Glebov, Maksim Osipenko, and Ivan Sergeev as players who strengthened "Dinamo," referring to them as stars at the level of the Russian championship.
It is worth noting that in the first round of the 2025/2026 season, the "Baltika" team will face "Dinamo" as guests. This match will take place on July 18 in Moscow and will start at 20:30.
In this game, the new tactics and playing styles of both teams will be put to the test.
