Face rapper is wanted in Russia on criminal charges
The political situation in Russia is becoming increasingly complicated for artists. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The famous rapper Face, whose real name is Ivan Dremin, has been put on the wanted list by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in connection with a criminal case. This was reported by the publication "Mediazona".

Although the search order is based on the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the specific article has not been disclosed. To identify Face, his well-known tattoos on his face, as well as the inscriptions on the right side of his forehead and under his eyes, were specifically highlighted.

The search was initiated by a duty unit in Bashkortostan, a number that was previously mentioned in the search for former press secretary Rostislav Murzagulov. Murzagulov was sentenced to 8 years in prison in July.

Officials stated that he was punished for spreading false information about the Russian army and violating the rules regarding "foreign agents". Face has previously faced political pressure.

After the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, he criticized the actions of the country's army and left Russia for this reason. In 2022, the Russian Ministry of Justice declared him a "foreign agent," and his music was removed from streaming platforms.

According to TASS agency, the criminal case opened against Face is related to regular violations of the law on "foreign agents". He has also been subjected to five administrative fines.

Face is considered one of the most popular and independent creators in Russia. His open stance on political and social issues has generated significant interest among young people.

However, the restriction of freedom of expression in Russia is increasing. Currently, there is no official information about Face's exact whereabouts.

There are rumors on social media that he is in Europe. This situation openly reflects the current state of art and freedom of expression in Russia.
