Ukraine asks Trump for new missile assistance
As the geopolitical situation in Eastern Europe becomes more complex, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskiy, has requested assistance from U.S. President Donald Trump in the form of new missiles and defense systems. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In an interview with The Washington Post, he emphasized that Ukraine currently has a significant need for modern missiles and defense tools to defend against numerous air attacks. Syrskiy noted the necessity of abandoning the policy set by the Biden administration that restricts strikes on targets within Russian territory.

In his opinion, if the U.S. and European countries supply Kyiv with strategic weapons such as ATACMS, Patriot, and Taurus without restrictions, it would deal a serious blow to Russia's arms manufacturing infrastructure. The general highlighted that new missile and defense technologies would help Ukraine effectively counter Russian air attacks, reduce offensive capabilities, and strengthen the country's security.

He also stated that he expects the Trump administration to adopt a clear and firm policy on this matter. According to Syrskiy, the availability of modern missiles would create a direct barrier against Russia.

“I hope that due to President Trump's position, this process will be facilitated and previous difficulties will not be repeated,” said the Ukrainian commander-in-chief. In summary, Ukraine is hoping for new political and military support to enhance its defense capabilities and maintain balance in the conflict with Russia.

Syrskiy's appeal is expected to remain a significant topic on the international political agenda in the coming weeks
