The war in Ukraine is continuing based on new tactics

Starting from 2024, the war in Ukraine has entered a new phase, as reported by the former commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In his opinion, the Russian invasion is significantly different from its initial phase. The enemy has radically changed its methods of conducting combat operations, currently prioritizing tactics aimed at mobilizing the army and civilian population rather than advancing on the front line.

Zaluzhnyi emphasized that if Ukraine only tries to stop firing, the war could last a long time. He warned about the possibility of the conflict, which began in 2014, extending until 2034.

For this reason, the country needs to further strengthen its defense, develop new strategies, and effectively allocate resources. The former commander describes the initial phase of the war in 2022 as characterized by the movement of tanks and other military equipment along with a large number of personnel.

The phase of the war similar to World War II ended in December 2023, when soldiers replaced tanks. The current front is mainly focused on eliminating fighters.

This new tactic and strategy will help Ukraine improve its defense methods, but for this, the country needs to reassess its defensive capabilities. Valeriy Zaluzhnyi noted that the ongoing battles could be fortunate or unfortunate for both sides.

Because significant resistance and psychological impact have a considerable effect on the final outcome of the battle. Therefore, it is crucial for military and political leaders to analyze the situation deeply and make effective decisions.
