The President of the United States, Donald Trump, accused former President Barack Obama of treason during an interview with journalists at the White House and suspected him of attempting to falsify the 2020 presidential elections. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Trump, Obama and his supporters tried to change the election results and mislead the process. He also mentioned that Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden participated in the 2020 elections, indicating that there were falsifications during this process.
In Trump's opinion, these actions constitute treason. They have carried out actions that no one could imagine, not only domestically but also in other countries.
Trump referred to Obama as the leader of this group and accused Clinton and Biden of participating in these crimes. Their goal was to manipulate the election for their own benefit.
Trump also emphasized those who attempted to expose these crimes. According to him, this situation will be taken seriously from a legal standpoint.
CNN, a major news agency, assessed this act as treason against the state, indicating that it entails the most severe penalties under U.S. law, including the death penalty. Trump also pointed to a recent report presented by National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard.
This report noted that Obama and his aides falsified and misinterpreted intelligence regarding Russia's interference in the 2016 elections for political purposes. Trump stressed the need to make these situations public.
