A live cat was found in a container at the port of Baltiysk
Workers at the port of Baltiysk in the Kaliningrad region found an unexpected guest – a live cat. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This cat accidentally ended up in a cargo container from the Leningrad region and traveled for seven days before reaching the Baltic Sea coast. According to reports, the cat got into the container during the loading process at the Ust-Luga port and was left behind when the doors closed.

Later, the container arrived at the port of Baltiysk on a cargo ship, and port staff found the cat. The cat survived for about a week without food, water, or sufficient air.

This situation amazed specialists, as it was determined that the animal's ability to survive is quite high. Port workers named the cat Mafik.

Currently, it is being cared for temporarily at an employee's home. If the real owner is found, the cat will be returned to them.

The cat is now in a safe environment and in the process of recovering its health. It should be noted that such cases are rare in the world.

For example, in the USA, a cat found a lottery ticket that its owner had swallowed, preserving a large fortune, while the Indonesian president's cat has personal bodyguards. Mafik has gained special attention due to its unique journey.
