A new significant event in the European business and political arena has become the center of discussions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
There have been clear reports that Denmark's famous entrepreneur and billionaire Thomas Andersen, along with his company's board member Torben Ostergaard, are directly involved in servicing Russian President Vladimir Putin. In recent weeks, the ship servicing company at the Fayyard port, owned by Andersen, has gained considerable attention.
According to sources, the gas carrier "Fedor Litke," which has come from Russia's "Yamal LNG" plant, is currently entering this port. It is noted that this ship is operating under the Cypriot flag and is acting in accordance with international laws.
Previously, this company also serviced the ship "Nikolay Urvansev." It has been reported that a total of nine Russian ships have been serviced at the Fayyard port over the past three years.
In May, the European Union imposed new sanctions against the "Yamal LNG" plant. Additionally, restrictions were placed on three gas carriers belonging to Japan's Mitsui OSK Lines.
These measures are aimed at complicating the delivery of Russia's liquefied gas to the European market. As a result, Danish billionaire Andersen and his port infrastructure continuing business relations with Russia are attracting serious attention from the European public and politicians.
Amid new sanctions and disputes in the service sector, the situation at Fayyard port has become an important topic on the international stage. In the future, this issue may lead to new debates in European-Russian relations.
