The German government has recently officially announced that it does not intend to recognize the state of Palestine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A representative of the country, Stefan Kornelius, stated that despite France's decision, Berlin does not currently consider such a step to be an important political solution. For Germany, the security of Israel is the most fundamental issue.
Therefore, Berlin sees the recognition of Palestine as one of the final stages on the path to a two-state solution. He expresses the opinion that a solution based on two states through meetings and negotiations can provide stable peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians.
Currently, the most important task for Germany is to stop the firing in the Gaza Strip, to free hostages held by HAMAS fighters, to disarm the movement, and to provide assistance to the peaceful population of Gaza. Germany is expecting real results in this regard.
For this reason, the country prioritizes ensuring stability and security in the region and putting an end to wars and crises. The European and international community is paying great attention to Germany's position in this matter.
