Trump harmonized trade and politics in Scotland

During his private visit to Scotland, US President Donald Trump combined three main areas. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He harmoniously managed golf, personal business interests, and global politics. Trump not only relaxed at his golf resorts in Turnberry and Balmedie but also actively promoted these places.

At these resorts, he held important press conferences and meetings. Notably, meetings with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer are worthy of special attention.

During the visit, Trump announced one of the largest trade agreements in history between the US and the European Union. According to the agreement, Europe will purchase billions of dollars worth of US energy and military equipment and invest in the American economy.

At the same time, a 15 percent tariff will be imposed on European products in the US. This is much more favorable than the 30 percent duty Trump had previously threatened.

Humanitarian issues in the Gaza Strip were discussed during negotiations between Trump and Starmer. At the Prime Minister's suggestion, Trump stated that the US would establish food delivery centers in Gaza in cooperation with the UK and Europe.

Additionally, Trump sharply changed his position on the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. He emphasized that Russia would be given only 10-12 days to reach a peace agreement and stated that "there is no benefit in waiting."

During this visit, Trump seized the opportunity to strengthen his political position, promote his commercial interests, and increase his influence on the international stage. Harmonizing politics with personal branding is one of the key features of Trump's political strategy.
