A person arrested for violence in a kindergarten in Australia
A 26-year-old individual named David James, who worked in a kindergarten in Australia, has been charged with committing violence against children and recording it on video. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the police investigation, he worked at six after-school care centers located in Sydney from 2021 to 2024. During this period, incidents of violence involving ten children aged 5-6 may have occurred.

According to the Australian Federal Police, the suspect has worked at nearly 60 children's institutions in total. He has been in custody since October 2023, but his name has not been disclosed until victims are identified during the investigation.

This crime has raised serious questions about safety measures in Australia's childcare system. In recent years, several high-profile cases of sexual and physical violence have been identified in the country, prompting a review of policies to ensure the safety of children.

According to police, materials depicting violence related to the suspect were found in the hidden part of the internet known as the "dark web." Based on this, investigators were able to identify David James.

Currently, the charges only pertain to incidents at the six centers, and no evidence has been found indicating crimes committed elsewhere. The police have personally contacted the families of the victims, reassuring other parents that "if you have not been contacted, it means no evidence related to your family has been found in the investigation."
