Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybi emphasized in an interview with Finland's YLE publication that the most important goal for the country is to fully end the war by the end of 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, peace and stability are a guarantee of security not only for Kyiv but for all of Europe and other regions. Sybi stated that Ukraine is currently fulfilling the task of ensuring security for everyone.
How the war ends will have a significant impact on peace conditions in Europe and the world. Therefore, it is necessary to act together with the international community to compel Russia to engage in peace negotiations.
The minister also mentioned that he has requested assistance from the international community, particularly the United States and former President Donald Trump, in imposing stricter and more effective sanctions against Russia. Because only in this way can Russia's war economy be halted and trade relations with third countries be restricted.
Experts are evaluating this statement as an important step indicating Kyiv's firm position. The Ukrainian government hopes to stop the war by the end of 2025 and considers Donald Trump's political influence and assistance crucial in this process.
In the coming months, the political processes between Kyiv, Washington, and the European Union, as well as the results of additional pressure against Russia, are being closely monitored by political observers and the public. These processes are expected to impact regional and international security.
