Gunfire erupted again near the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid centers supported by Israeli military in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to local witnesses and health workers, at least ten people were killed in the incidents that occurred on Saturday. This incident took place a day after U.S. officials visited the GHF center and referred to the system as a "remarkable achievement."
The GHF was launched in May with U.S. assistance and is considered an alternative aid system chosen by Israel instead of the UN. In recent days, food shortages in Gaza have intensified.
According to UN data, from May to the end of July, 859 people have died around GHF centers. Meanwhile, the Israeli army and GHF emphasize that they had no involvement in the events that took place.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that in the last 24 hours, seven Palestinians, including one child, have died due to food shortages. Since the war began, 93 children and 76 adults have died from hunger.
This situation highlights the seriousness of humanitarian and food supply issues in the region
