A two-year-old girl was found in a suitcase on a bus in Kayioka
A woman traveling on a bus in the city of Kayioka in northern New Zealand was arrested after a two-year-old girl was found in a suitcase. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to police, the incident occurred on Sunday at a bus station. When one of the bus passengers asked for permission to enter the luggage compartment, the driver noticed one of the suitcases moving.

When he opened the suitcase, he found a two-year-old girl inside. According to the police statement, the girl's body temperature was high, but she was not physically harmed.

A 27-year-old woman has been arrested and is being prosecuted for neglect or abuse of a minor. The girl has been sent to the hospital for a medical examination.

So far, the relationship between the woman and the child has not been disclosed. The New Zealand police specifically recognized the bus driver who showed vigilance in this case, emphasizing that his prompt action prevented serious consequences.

This incident once again highlighted issues of parental responsibility and societal indifference.
