Experts emphasize that this discovery is the largest find in the last 25 years and could significantly enhance the region's energy potential. The discovery was made in the Bumerangue field.

This area is located approximately 400 kilometers away, where the presence of oil and gas has been confirmed at a depth of 500 meters. Currently, there are plans to build a special production center in this location.

In recent years, the company has been focusing more on fossil fuel sources. These changes are aimed at restoring investor confidence and increasing competition in the global energy market.

Against the backdrop of new oil fields being identified in the Gulf of Mexico and Egypt this year, the discovery in Brazil is being evaluated as a significant strategic shift in the energy sector. Following this news, the company's shares rose by 1 percent on the London Stock Exchange.
