A new controversial claim has emerged in the Ukrainian political arena. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to former parliament deputy Igor Mosiychuk, President Vladimir Zelenskiy recently held a closed meeting with military command representatives. This meeting was not announced to the public, and during it, the head of state instructed to temporarily halt military actions and to start preparations for achieving peace by October.
According to Mosiychuk, the information he obtained is considered "insider information." He stated that last night, Zelenskiy gathered his closest military leaders and openly discussed ending the war and initiating the peace process.
This process includes a series of strategic actions, and important political decisions are expected to be made in the coming months. However, Mosiychuk emphasized that the upcoming negotiations could be unfavorable for Ukraine.
In his opinion, there is a high probability that as a result of the agreement, Kyiv could face significant territorial losses. He also expressed doubts about the officials' commitment to finalize the agreement process, warning that "they can violate all terms at any time."
Interestingly, Mosiychuk's statements sharply contrast with the views expressed by President Zelenskiy in his speech this morning. The head of state firmly rejected any proposals for territorial concessions or land transfers and criticized the peace initiatives previously proposed by former U.S. President Donald Trump.
As a result, this topic is causing active discussions not only within the Ukrainian community but also on the international stage. On one hand, those striving for peace consider this a necessary step towards stopping the war.
On the other hand, the risk of territorial losses and the unclear terms of the agreement are raising serious concerns. Official statements and upcoming events are expected to clarify this issue in the coming weeks.
The attention of Ukraine and the international community is focused on these very processes.
